CM Khelta Punjab Games from tomorrow
LAHORE:Punjab Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will inaugurate the final phase competitions of Khelta Punjab Games at a colourful opening ceremony at the Punjab Stadium on January 30 (tomorrow). He said this while presiding over a meeting at the National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.
Secretary Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial, DG Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal, LWMC Chairman Bilal Zulfiqar Khokhar, Sports Coordinator Malik Anoosh Khokhar, Director Admin Dr M Kaleem and Director Sports Rana Nadeem Anjum attended the meeting. Addressing the meeting, Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the Khelta Punjab Games are being organised under the slogan of ‘Khelay ga Punjab, Jeetay ga Punjab’. “The true promotion of sports culture and healthy activities among the younger generation across the province is the vision of Punjab Chief Minister”. He further said that more than 2,000 players including 1,300 male and 700 female athletes and officials from all the divisions of Punjab will participate in the games.
