One dead, seven hurt in Khuzdar bomb blast

QUETTA: A bomb explo sion in a car, parked on the side of the M-8 highway near Khori in the Khuzdar area, killed one person and injured seven others. The explosion com pletely destroyed the car and a nearby passenger bus traveling from Khuz dar to Rawalpindi was also severely damaged. The blast’s sound was heard from a distance. Upon receiving infor mation about the explo sion, local authorities, bomb disposal teams, and security forces arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. The injured and the deceased were transported to the hospi tal. According to Levies sources, the passenger bus, traveling from Khuz dar to Rawalpindi, was passing near Khori when the explosion occurred in the vehicle parked on the side of the road. The blast caused the car to be torn apart, and the bus was also heavily damaged. One person was killed, and seven others, all passengers on the bus, were injured. The injured were moved to the Trauma Cen ter in Khuzdar, and an in vestigation into the explo sion is underway. Further action is being taken by the local adminis tration.
