Court adjourns hearing of case till January 23

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday issued notice to the Adiala jail administration on the plea to provide the facility of newspaper and TV to the PTI founder in jail and arrange his telephonic conversation with his sons.

The petition regarding the facility of newspapers and TV for the PTI founder in jail and arranging his telephonic conversation with his sons came up for hearing before IHC Monday. Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamer Farooq took up the case for hearing. Notice was issued on the plea regarding the provision of facilities to the PTI founder in jail. IHC directed the representative of Adiala jail to appear before it at the next hearing.

PTI founder filed a petition against a trial court order in IHC. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till January 23.
