Saif praises Haqqania for academic contributions
NOWSHERA: Adviser to Chief Minister on Information on Tuesday praised Darul Uloom Haqqania for its academic contributions which he said were recognized internationally.
He said this during a visit to the seminary where he was accompanied by journalists, as well as Muhammad Israr Madani and Maulana Tahmeed Jan Azhari.The adviser was briefed on various departments, and construction projects, including Jamia Masjid Maulana Abdul Haq, the Shariat Hall, the modern academic block, and other schemes.
Barrister Saif went to the modern central library, offices, computer lab, departments, and classrooms. Addressing the students, he said Darul Uloom Haqqania was not only an important religious institution of KP but also of South Asia.
He paid tribute to Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Abdul Haq and Shaheed Maulana Samiul Haq stating that the academic contributions of Jamia Haqqania were globally recognized. Barrister Saif emphasized that religious and sectarian harmony was the foundation of a peaceful society, and institutions like Darul Uloom Haqqania had a great responsibility in this regard. He said the KP government held the Darul Uloom Haqqania in high esteem for its contributions.
The adviser added that this was an era of knowledge and reasoning, adding we must influence the world through our intellectual strength.He described the Jamia Masjid Maulana Abdul Haq and the modern academic block as unique examples of Islamic architecture and lauded the educational performance of Darul Uloom Haqqania, equating it to the standards of any top-tier university.
Deputy Administrator Maulana Rashid-ul-Haq Sami praised Barrister Saif for playing a role in resolving the conflict in Kurram through peaceful means.He stated that Darul Uloom Haqqania had always worked beyond sectarian lines to promote harmony.
