Mohenjo Daro, one of the most significant archaeological sites in the world, stands as a remarkable testament to the ingenuity of the Indus Valley Civilization. Located in the Sindh region of Pakistan, this ancient city reflects the advanced urban planning, architectural brilliance, and cultural sophistication of a civilisation that thrived over 4000 years ago. Despite its historical and cultural importance, Mohenjo Daro is slowly deteriorating due to natural factors and governmental neglect. It is deeply concerning that a site of such global significance is being allowed to decay, with minimal efforts being made to restore it. If the current trend of neglect continues, future generations may lose the opportunity to experience this ancient marvel.
