KRL folded for 151 in match against Wapda
KARACHI: Defending champions SNGPL were bowled out for 406 runs in their first innings against PTV on the second day of the President’s Trophy Grade-I match here at the HPC Oval Ground.
Qasim Akram and Mubasar Khan had scored centuries the other day. Imad Butt took 4-85. PTV had 260-4 at the end of their first innings. Mohammad Taha made 86 (not out). Yasir Khan (59) and Mohammad Shahzad (70) were the other main contributors for PTV.
At the NBP Sports Complex, KRL were bowled out for 151 runs in reply to WAPDA’s 268 in their first innings. Imran Rafique scored 54 runs and Muhammad Zeeshan took three wickets. Wapda made 114-2 in the second innings. Muhammad Akhlaq retired hurt after scoring 56. Muhammad Ammar was not out at 44. Wapda were leading with 231 runs.
At National Bank stadium, Higher Education team against Eshal Associates were bowled out for 224 runs in their first innings in reply to 341 runs of Eshal Associates first innings score . Muhammad Imran Khan scored 54 runs. Tahir Hussain took 4-46. Eshal Associates scored 120-2 in the second innings. Eshal Associates enjoy a lead of 237 runs.
