Some of our leaders are notorious for putting up ads in the news media, with their photos, at the public expense. A recent ad shows a leader with his photo along with the pictures of Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, trying to match his status with these dignitaries.
In a past case, this leader had to pay the cost of such ads on court orders. The superior courts are requested to take action against such activities by the politicians.
