Two killed inside home in Waziristan

MIRANSHAH: Two people, including a woman, were killed and two others injured when armed men barged into a house and opened fire on the inmates at Barokhel village in Mir Ali tehsil of North Waziristan.

It was learnt that unidentified armed men broke into a house in Barokhel village and opened indiscriminate fire on the inmates. The attack left a man and a woman dead on the spot, while two others sustained injuries.

The deceased and injured were taken to a hospital in Mir Ali. The injured were identified as Shamroz, son of Barkat Khan and Khuban, son of Faqir Janan. A man and a woman were killed in the incident.

The motive behind the attack could not be determined. The police were investigating the incident. The accused fled the scene, and a search operation was underway to apprehend them.
