AIOU to upgrade educational facilities
Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will upgrade its existing educational facilities to serve the marginalised section of society, particularly those living in far-flung regions.
To achieve this cherished goal, the university decided to strengthen their regional campuses so as to improve quality of education and provide best possible services to its 1.3 million students, stated Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui while presiding over regional directors’ conference of Sindh Province. He announced that the regional offices will be given extra support by meeting their financial, technical and human-resource requirements, enabling them to meet their target of maximum students’ enrollment and strengthening students’ support system.
