NANKANA SAHIB: A ceremony was held on the occasion of the 57th Foundation Day of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) at the residence of veteran party leader Malik Baba Sheeda on Sunday.
Former provincial finance minister Chaudhry Tanvir Akhtar Kaira was the guest of honour on the occasion,Lahore division PPP president Rai Shah Jahan Ahmad Khan Bhatti, district president Syed Ibrar Hussain Shah, city president Malik Inam ul Haq and party workers Rai Ijaz Bhatti, Chaudhry Tanvir Akhtar, Chacha Allah Rakha, Rana Sajjad Ali and Rai Haroon Rasheed Bhatti also attended the event.
On the occasion, Tanvir Kaira said former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto imparted political awareness to the masses and also informed them about their rights.He said the party has a long history of struggle for democracy.He said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is trying to take with him the leadership of all parties for the uplift of the country.
