LALAMUSA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Safdar Hussain chaired the eighth meeting of the District Prisons Health Council atht was convened at District Jail Gujrat on Friday.
The meeting reviewed healthcare facilities for inmates, and other issues to improve overall atmosphere of the prison.The DC asked the jail administration to ensure essential medical facilities for inmates. He said facilities regarding dental issues in terms of dental chairs and dental kits would be ensured in the hospital soon. The DC said specialized cells would be established to enhance the security of inmates involved in serious cases.
