Technical board hires 25 employees on contractual or daily-wage basis
It has been revealed that around 25 employees between grade 1 and 16 have been appointed in the Sindh Board of Technical Education on daily wages or a contractual basis during the last one year in violation of rules or merit.
When Sindh Board of Technical Education Chairman Muzaffar Bhutto was asked about 25 irregular appointments, he said he had no role in such appointments. He explained that he had assumed the board’s control only a few weeks ago and if any appointment was made on a contractual basis, it was not approved by him.
The News also tried to contact Sindh Universities and Boards Minister Muhammad Ali Malkani for his comments and also sent him a WhatsApp message, but he did not respond.
Ad hocism has badly affected the affairs of the educational boards in Sindh.
