Ambreen gets additional charge of state TV

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has assigned additional charge of the office of Managing Director of Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) to Federal Secretary Information and Broadcasting Ambreen Jan.
After approval of Federal Cabinet, Establishment Division has issued a notification assigning her additional charge. Ambreen Jan is a Grade-21 officer of Information Group. She has been given the additional charge of the office of MD PTV under Section 10 of Civil Servants Act, 1973 for a period of three months or until regular appointment.
After assuming the charge, Ambreen Jan ordered investigation into illegal recruitments in PTV. She also ordered inquiry into reappointment of 12 retired employees, besides directing the management to have degrees of other employees verified.
