LONDON: The Foreign Ministry of Pakistan has instructed High Commission (HC) in London to take legal action against those involved in harassing former chief justice Qazi Faez Isa and his wife in the UK.
According to sources, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar directed the ministry to ensure strict action against all individuals responsible for the incident. The directions were issued on Saturday. The High Commission has been advised to pursue legal channels to bring the offenders to justice. Sources said the Foreign Office has asked the High Commission to provide names and pictures of at least a dozen PTI workers to the Met police. Recently, the PTI supporters protested outside an event where former chief justice was made a bencher of the Middle Temple, with participants targeting his vehicle.
