Imran doesn’t enjoy people’s support in Punjab: Azma
Inflation is decreasing in Pakistan and relief has been provided on electricity bills, she says
LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has said the people of Punjab are sensible and pay attention to the performance of the government instead of following empty rhetoric.
In a statement issued here on Friday, she said PTI founder Imran Khan did not enjoy the support of people in Punjab. She claimed that only people from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa attended the PTI Jalsa in Islamabad where PTI leaders just talked about disintegrating the country and threatened the institutions.
KP people have been holding rallies for six months while their province is in debt by a thousand billion rupees.
Questioning how long they can deceive the public with false narratives, she said they were ill-mannered.
She said Salman Akram Raja was educated, but talked in the same tone as other PTI members.
She said anyone who did not speak like Imran Khan or Ali Amin Gandapur could not stay in the party. Inflation is decreasing in Pakistan and relief has been provided on electricity bills.
