PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Monday granted transit bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s spokesperson for legal affairs Naeem Panjutha Advocate.
The single PHC bench of Justice Shakeel Ahmad directed Naeem Panjutha to appear before the relevant courts in connection with the cases registered against him until October 7. His lawyer Muzzammil Khan told the court that a case had been registered against his client Naeem Panjutha, a lawyer by profession, in Islamabad. He said that Naeem Panjutha intended to appear before the court but he feared arrest, therefore, he had requested the high court to grant him transit bail.
