‘CM’s skill uplift plan to promote technical education’
LAHORE:Minister for Industries and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain has said Chief Minister Skill Development Programme is an important initiative for the promotion of technical education.
The minister said this while chairing a meeting to review progress on the programme held at Tevta Secretariat here Tuesday. During the briefing, the minister was told that first phase of the programme is nearing completion while admissions for the second phase were going on.
Pro-worker policies being formulated
Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resource Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that policies benefiting labourers and their families are in the process of formulation. The Punjab government has been avidly focusing to resolve the Labourers’ issues and provide them all medical and financial benefits, which are their legitimate right. Minister for Labour and Human Resource Punjab Faisal Ayub Khokar expressed these views while chairing a meeting of PESSI directors at head office on Tuesday.
