Elders want girl killers brought to justice

BARA: The members of the Maidan Qaumi Jirga in Tirah valley on Sunday demanded the police to arrest the killers of a 16-year-old girl who was allegedly murdered in Peshawar.
Speaking at a press conference here Maidan Qaumi Jirga members, including Maulana Izatullah Hamkhyal, Maulana Hazrat Khan, Sher Afgan and others said a 16-year-old tribal girl Sadia was married to Sadique, son of Muhammad Rehman, in Mashugagar village
of Badaber town in Peshawar.
They added that the family shifted to Khazana area in Peshawar and later allegedly killed Sadia.The jirga members alleged that the husband, father-in-law and mother-in-law of the girl were behind her murder.
