‘Women’s protection to be ensured’

LAHORE:Women Protection Authority Chairperson Hina Pervaiz Butt has said women should not feel alone as all state institutions are actively working for their protection.
The chairperson said this during a meeting with Punjab Home Secretary Noor-ul-Amin Mengal here on Wednesday. The meeting focused on protecting the rights of women and the marginalised segments of society. Hina Pervaiz Butt stated that the mission of the CM is to end the oppression of women and marginalised segments. She emphasised that standing firmly against the oppressors and ensuring justice for the oppressed is the government’s mission. Hina Pervaiz Butt mentioned that cases of serious crimes will be pursued to their logical conclusion through the Organised Crime Unit.
