Illegal structures razed, sealed

LAHORE:Under the direction of LDA Director General Tahir Farooq, LDA teams conducted a special operation against illegal constructions and commercialisation fee defaulters on Monday.

The operation was supervised by Chief Town Planner II Azhar Ali and Director Town Planning Zone Four Ali Nusrat. Several notices were given to these properties before the operation. Enforcement wing and heavy police force also participated in the operation.

The LDA teams demolished the illegal pillars of the under-construction building in Architect Engineering Society, an illegal commercial building under construction in Plot No 11 Lahore Avenue Society and illegal shutters were removed on Johar Town and a medical complex on Jan Muhammad Road. The LDA team also sealed illegal shops at Plot No 186 Q1 Wapda Town. LDA teams also sealed 14 properties in the ongoing operation.
