19 injured in Kurram blast

PARACHINAR: At least 19 persons sustained injuries when a hand-grenade exploded in the Ghozgarhi Maqbal boundary area in Kurram tribal district on Sunday.

Police sources said that a wedding ceremony was going on in the Ghozgarhi Maqbal boundary area when a hand-grenade in the pocket exploded with a big bang.They said that 19 persons sustained injuries in the belts.

The injured were taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Sadda where their condition was stated to be stable.The police rushed to the spot, collected evidence, registered a case and started an investigation to ascertain the cause of the explosion.
