Govt slammed for increasing electricity bills

LALAMUSA: Jamaat-e-Islami North Punjab ameer Dr Tariq Saleem has criticised the government for recent increase in electricity bills.
Talking to media, Dr Tariq Saleem claimed that the Jamaat-e-Islami was a voice of 250 million people who were suffering due to wrong policies of the government. Dr Tariq highlighted the adverse impacts of rising inflation.
The JI leader also called for an end to governmental extravagance and the abolition of excessive protocols. He urged the government to utilise national resources effectively rather than relying on foreign aid.
