Depts ordered to depute staff at cattle markets

PESHAWAR: The district administration has directed all the relevant departments to depute officials at the cattle market to ensure all safety measures.

The directives were issued at a meeting here on Friday. The officials would check the health of animals, spray animals at all the entry points and ensure cleanliness in the market.A notification issued here said that the officials had been directed to provide better facilities to the masses at the cattle markets in the provincial capital. The officials were told to ensure that the cattle traders followed all the procedures being made for cattle markets.
