CDA to introduce smart car parking

Islamabad:A meeting presided over by Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Thursday, decided to introduce smart car parking system in Islamabad.

The meeting noted that the introduction of smart parking technology along with addressing parking problems, would also be sources of income generation for the authority. “It will be an automated car parking system at various locations in Islamabad,” the chairman said. It was also decided to install trackers on all official vehicles of CDA to avert misuse and save fuel and there would be better monitoring of transport system of authority. The tracking system would help in controlling embezzlement in head of fuel.
