Railway officer holds open court
LAHORE: Divisional Superintendent Railway Lahore, Muhammad Hanif Gul, conducted an open court and an e-court session to address complaints of railway employees. A total of 22 complaints were received, with an additional complaint submitted through the e-court platform.
During the sessions, most of the complaints were resolved on the spot, while instructions were given to the relevant officers for the immediate resolution of the remaining issues. The complaints covered various topics, including encroachment, transfers, repair of quarters, and the remission of departmental punishments.
Additional concerns discussed included the payment of dues, recruitment on Temporary Labour Assistance (TLA), unjustified salary deductions, and duty protection. DS Railway assured the attendees that the administration was working diligently to resolve their issues.
