Danish Atlas through to Houston Open qualifying finals

KARACHI: Danish Atlas Khan moved into the qualifying finals in the 50,000 Houston Squash Open at Life Time Athletic Club in Houston, Texas on Wednesday.
Danish defeated Anthony Graham of England 9-11, 11-6, 11-8, 12-10 in 52 minutes in the first qualifying round. He will now face Henrik Mustonen of Finland in the qualifying finals.
Shahid Hussain fell to Campbell Grayson of New Zealand 0-11, 2-11, 3-11 in just 19 minutes, while Yasir Butt gave walkover to Reiko Peter of Switzerland in the first qualifying round.
Pakistan’s Shahjahan Khan got wildcard for this event to face eighth seed Omer Abdel Meguid of Egypt in the main round.
