Road to Saiful Muluk Lake reopens

MANSEHRA: The bumpy road connecting Naran with Saiful Muluk Lake was cleared to traffic on Friday.A press release issued by the Kaghan Development Authority said that its machines cleared the snow and cut a glacier on the artery to resume the traffic, which had been suspended some six months ago.
National Highway Authority has already cleared the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road to traffic till Naran and cutting of glaciers and removing snowfall from Babusar Top is still in progress.The traffic between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, which was also suspended in November last year with the first snowfall of the season in the Kaghan valley, would resume with the clearance of snow from the rest of the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road.
