ISLAMABAD: Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) announced on Thursday the successful commencement of production from the Togh-02 well in the Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The well, situated in the Lumshiwal-I Formation, is currently producing 70 barrels of condensate and 8.0 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas, which is being supplied into SNGPL's network.
OGDCL said the production from the well is projected to provide annual foreign exchange savings of over $38 million, reinforcing import substitution and strengthening Pakistan's economy.The company remains committed to its core objective of adding shareholder value through a growth-oriented business strategy.
