Aleema visits Swabi sit-in camp
SWABI: The workers and activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf continued sit-in for the release of jailed party founder and former prime minister Imran Khan near Ambar Interchange on Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway on Saturday.
Aleema Khan, sister of ex-prime minister Imran Khan, provincial ministers, including Aqibullah Khan, Faisal Khan Tarakai, Murtaza Khan Tarakai also attended the sit-in camp being held at the rest area near Ambar Interchange on Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway.
It may be mentioned that the Swabi chapter of PTI workers and activists have announced to continue the sit-in till the release of ex-PM Imran Khan. Aleema Khan visited the sit-in camp and praised the party activists and workers for unflinching support to Imran Khan and their efforts for his release.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that Imran Khan would not compromise on principles. “Imran Khan wants a real change in the country and will not bow to any pressure,” she added.
