PTI MPA vows action against alleged anomalies
NOWSHERA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial vice-president and Member Provincial Assembly Idrees Khattak has announced to take action against officials responsible for irregularities and favouritism in various government departments.
He also took notice of the payment of funds to contractors before the completion of development work in mosques and other projects.The MPA highlighted irregularities in the Education Department and the Public Health Department.
In addition to demanding accountability, Idrees Khattak called for an investigation into illegal appointments and corruption in the Education Department.He emphasised a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and political interference, stating that the government’s credibility is at stake due to the presence of mafias in offices.
The MPA warned that if his directives were not followed, inquiries would be initiated through the Anti-Corruption Department, NAB, and Chief Minister Inspection Team. He assured that he would raise these issues on the floor of the assembly.
