Babar nears T20I milestone

LAHORE: As Pakistan prepare to face New Zealand in the T20I series, all eyes are on captain Babar Azam, who is about to set a new record in the format.

With just 339 runs needed to match Virat Kohli’s T20I run total, Azam’s consistent performance has put him within striking distance of this milestone. Babar currently ranks third in the list of highest run-scorers in T20I cricket. With 3,698 runs under his belt, Azam trails only Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
