Unideal but necessary

PIA’s total liabilities reach up to the billions of dollars. Due to mismanagement, its losses only seem to be piling up as time goes by. The government has rightly decided to offload and privatize the national carrier either partially or in full.

However, having to privatize the national carrier ought to have been something the country avoided. The government must also hold to account those responsible for this loss to the state.
