RBISE officials visit examination centres
Rawalpindi: Chairman of the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE), Muhammad Adnan Khan, Controller Examinations Professor Sajid Mahmood Farooqi, Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif, Deputy Commissioner Chakwal Madam Quratulain, DPO Chakwal Captain (r) Samiullah Farooq, Deputy Commissioner Murree Zahid Shirazi and various assistant commissioners of different tehsils visited various examination centres as part of the 9th Grade Annual Examination 2024 series.
RBISE chairman took action against the examination centre of Choa Saidan Shah, suspending examination staff immediately for not addressing complaints, incompetence, and misconduct. An FIR has been lodged, and an administrative inquiry has been ordered. During the transfer of examination staff from the examination centre of Noorpur Kalra Khar, staff members were caught red-handed, leading to their suspension. An FIR has been lodged, and administrative action has been recommended.
In Rawalpindi, RBISE chairman, visited Government Graduate College, Choa Saidan Shah; Government Boys and Girls Higher Secondary School, Basharat; Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Sahgalabad; Government Boys and Girls High Schoo, Khanpur; and Government Boys and Girls High School, Malhal Maghlan. Immediate action was taken by suspending the staff for not addressing complaints, incompetence, and misuse of authority. New staff has been appointed, and an FIR has been lodged, leading to arrests and administrative action. Following the visits, the RBISE chairman stated that on the instructions of the Chief Secretary Punjab, all district administrations are supervising examination centres at the district and tehsil levels on a daily basis.
Deputy Commissioner Chakwal Quratulain, DPO Chakwal Samiullah Farooq, Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif, Deputy Commissioner Murree Zahid Shirazi, and various assistant commissioners of different tehsils also visited various examination centres and reviewed arrangements. Controller Examinations Professor Sajid Mahmood Farooqi visited Government High School, Kasran; Government High School, Nara; Government High School, Toba Doamial; Government High School, Khunda; and Government High School, Jaffer. After the visits, he stated that strict monitoring of all examination centres is underway.
