This refers to the letter ‘Population problem’ (March 13, 2024) by Syed Hussein El-Edroos. I strongly endorse the writer’s point of view. The exploding population keeps eating up all our resources.
No matter how many new schools, hospitals or roads we build, they will all be quickly overwhelmed if the population keeps growing at its current rate. All tiers of leadership in Pakistan must think about this issue and come up with a sensible mechanism to bring the rate of population growth under control.
