Trader’s home looted in Nowshera
NOWSHERA: Four armed burglars looted the house of a trader in Wapda Colony in Taru Jabba area and decamped with valuables and cash.
Latifur Rahman, a resident of Wapda Colony in Taru Jabba, told the Pabbi police that he along with all family members were busy in iftar when four armed burglars barged into their house. He said that soon after their entry, the robbers took all of us hostage at gunpoint and later some of them started looting the house while one armed thief was guarding them.
The complainant said that thieves collected 13 tola gold ornaments, Rs2.7 million, 1100 dirham, six mobile phone sets and three laptops and later decamped with all the valuables and cash. The trader said that the thieves also lifted their car, however, the burglars had abandoned the vehicle near the Railway Phattak.
