WANA: The foundation stone laying ceremony for Sophia Noor Girls Academy Wana marked a significant milestone in Lower South Waziristan district, supported by the Wana Welfare Association (WAWA).
Attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Lower South Waziristan Kashmir Khan and WAWA president Rehmatullah Wazir, the event saw participation from various sectors, including tribal elders, youths, and local political leaders.
The initiation of Sophia Noor Girls Academy is crucial, given the lack of educational opportunities for girls in Wana. Local tribal elders and youth appreciated WAWA’s proactive efforts and thanked the cabinet members for their support.
