Haider Hoti says country being pushed towards anarchy
Says Imran wants to become PM through shortcuts
TAKHTBHAI: Provincial president of the Awami National Party (ANP) and former chief minister Ameer Haidar Hoti Sunday said that the demands for resignation from prime minister should be made after the investigation proved him guilty.
Talking to reporters at the wedding ceremony of the ANP leader Haji Bahadur Khan, he said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders’ demand for resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was not reasonable.
“Imran Khan wants to become prime minister using shortcuts. We will oppose this demand as it would push the country towards anarchy,” he added.Coming down hard on the dual standards of the PTI leadership, he said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was investigating the ‘Khyber leaks’ through its own minister while PTI was making demands of judicial investigation on the Panama Leaks.
He said that Panama Leaks has exposed several big names in the country and added that they must get punishment when the allegations were proved. He added that leaders of several parties, except ANP, were exposed in the Panama Papers.
