A security guard of a private security company was apparently killed by armed robbers in the Clifton neighbourhood on Monday. Rescuers transported the casualty to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where the deceased was identified as 50-year-old Zahoor.
Police said that the incident took place when the security guard was on duty outside his travel agency office as per routine. Two unknown robbers on a motorcycle approached the travel agency, and the guard spotted them. When the suspects saw him, they fired and fled. One bullet hit Zahoor in the chest, and he died on the spot. Police said the deceased belonged to Punjab.
