The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan has nominated its MPA-elect Sofia Shah Advocate to contest the upcoming election in the new house of the Sindh Assembly for choosing the new speaker.
The decision to the effect was reached at a joint meeting of the MQM-Pakistan’s Coordination Committee and parliamentary party in the Sindh Assembly held at the party’s central election office on Friday.
The meeting considered the current political situation in the country. The MQM-Pakistan also nominated its MPA-elect Rashid Khan Advocate to contest the upcoming election in the Sindh Assembly for the new deputy speaker.
