Roots Int’l school celebrates International Day of Mother Earth

Islamabad:    Environmental stewards and nature’s caretakers, no matter what your label of choice, helping others learn about becoming more Earth Friendly is the mission. That mission becomes reality during the activities of Earth Day, which culminates at Ibex Club, Lake View Park, Islamabad.

Earth Day Festival, 2016 was organized by Kuch Khaas who always provide A community space for discourse, learning, meaningful entertainment and participation in Islamabad..

Richmond, F-10, West ridge, Gulzar e Quaid & G13 Campus of Roots International schools under the umbrella of Eco-Literacy Club celebrated International Day of Mother Earth with a belief that we can make every day Earth Day, and every person in every school can make a difference. Earth Day is a great time to plan fun, educational, and action-oriented activities. Whichshowcase classroom environmental education, highlighting efforts to “green” the school facility by engaging the Students in activities like;Debates , Go Green – Science Fair, Earth Day Poster contest, Earth Day Quiz Contest,  Go Green – Art Exhibition Mural & Sculpture, Earth Day Poetry Contest, Scavenger Hunt,  Plant a Seed Race,  Collect Non – Biodegradable Race & Earth Day Parade.  Participation of Roots International students was outstanding. Student Projects, Earth day Costumes and Management Commitment to Green Environment was recognized and appreciated.**
