LAHORE: At least seven people died, whereas 1,270 were injured in 1181 accidents in all 37 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.

Out of these, 527 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 743 victims with minor injuries were treated at incident site by Rescue medical teams.

A team reached the spot on information and shifted it to a morgue with the help of Edhi Foundation. The police recorded statements from the eye-witnesses and collected forensic evidence from the crime scene. The police said they were investigating the matter.

Man hit to death: A 40-year-old man died after being hit by a speeding train in Misri Shah.

The victim was trying to cross railway lines near Farooq Ganj when hit by a speeding train. He received injuries and died.

Police removed the body to morgue. The police said the victim’s identity was yet to be ascertained.
