44 Grade-20 officers nominated for National Management Course
The National Management Course is mandatory for the promotion of officers from BPS-20 to BPS-21
ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division on Thursday issued a notification regarding the nomination of 44 BPS-20 officers from the federal and provincial bureaucracy for the National Management Course (NMC).
The National Management Course is mandatory for the promotion of officers from BPS-20 to BPS-21. The four-month long NMC starting from March 11, 2024 would be held at the National School of Public Policy Lahore.
The nominees for the course include 10 officers of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) Counsel General Trader Hong Kong, Bilal Ahmad Butt; Azmat Mahmood Khan (waiting for posting), OSD Dr Ayesha Saeed, Secretary Forests and Wildlife Punjab Mudassar Waheed Malik, Secretary Industries and Trade Punjab Ehsan Bhutt, Joint Secretary Establishment Waqas Alam, Secretary Services Punjab Zaid Bin Maqsood, Secretary Finance Punjab Mujahid Sherdil, Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan Dr Nasir Mahmood Bashir and Secretary to Governor Sindh Bilal Ahmad.
In addition, five officers nominated for the course from the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) include RPO Rawalpindi Syed Khurram Ali, SIG Special Branch Lahore Faisal Ali Raja, Deputy Commandant FC Peshawar Ahmad Jamalur Rehman, OSD Yousuf Malik and DIG Motorway Police Daar Ali Khan Khattak.
Five officers from the Secretariat Group are Taha Ahmad Bugti (waiting for posting), Kashif Gulzar, posted in Sindh, Joint Secretary Ministry of Law and Justice Irfan Anjum, Joint Secretary Planning Division Khair Muhammad and Joint Secretary Ministry of Industries and Production Muhammad Mureed.
Besides, other officers nominated for the course include Director General SIFC Dayar Khan, Ambassador OIC Syed Muhammad Fawad Sher and Pakistan Ambassador in Oslo Saadia Altaf (Foreign Service); Fauzia Saleem Khan, Zeba Gul and Shazana Durrani (Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service), Yasir Ali, Qaisara Fatema and Abdul Aziz Narejo (Inland Revenue Service).
From the Pakistan Customs Service include Muhammad Jamil Nasir Khan and Muhammad Nadeem Khan Memon, Shafqat Abbasi (Information Service), Nisar Muhammad Khan (Postal Group), Hammad Hasan Mirza of Ministry of Railways, Muhammad Ishaq of Ministry of Food, Syed Hasan Murtaza (National Assembly Secretariat), Manzoor Hussain, Dr Syeda Maleka and Muhammad Ali Umar (Punjab Government), Akhtar Hussain (Sindh), Fareeha Paul, Mahfooz Durrani and Aamer Latif (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) and Aamer Latif (Azad Jammu and Kashmir).
Meanwhile, the federal government transferred BPS-20 officer Joint Secretary National Security Division Mir Afzal Khan, directing him to report to the Establishment Division. He would be replaced by BPS-21 officer of Secretariat Humaira Zia Mufti who is currently posted at the National School of Public Policy.
