IHC dismisses appeal seeking divorce record of Bushra, Manika
The court has already ordered trial court not to record the statements of the witnesses

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has dismissed appeal on obtaining record of documents related to divorce between Khawar Manika and Bushra Bibi.
A two-member bench of LHC presided over by Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhry took up for hearing the petition filed by local lawyer on Monday. The court rejected the petition for being unpersuasive.
It is pertinent to mention that Islamabad High Court (IHC) has extended stay order in connection with trial of Nikah during Iddat case against PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
The court has already ordered trial court not to record the statements of the witnesses.
Earlier, the IHC had rejected the plea for issuing stay order on trial of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in Nikah during Iddat case.
