27 students arrested after clash in KU

Police on Thursday registered a case in connection with a clash between members of two student organisations in the University of Karachi.

The case was registered at the Mobina Town police station under the charges of incitement, fighting and heated arguments. Over a hundred members from two student organisations were involved in a clash that took place in front of the Teachers Education Department.

Members of both student organisations attacked each other with sticks and stones as mentioned in the case. Observing the intensity of the clash, the police and Rangers were informed, reads the FIR. The police have arrested 27 members from both student organisations.
