ANP opens election campaign office in Wana
WANA: Awami National Party (ANP) launched the election campaign for National Assembly constituency NA-42 with nominated candidate Hamid Ullah Afghan and provincial assembly PK-110 nominee Ayaz Wazir in Wana bazaar, Lower South Waziristan district, on Saturday.
The ANP office was also inaugurated on the occasion, where district president Malik Aziz Ullah and local elders expressed confidence that people would ensure the success of ANP candidates in the upcoming elections.
Abdur Rauf Wazir presented the regional manifesto of the ANP during the office opening ceremony, mentioning the formation of a commission for land disputes and district demarcation.
He also outlined plans for constructing small dams to generate employment opportunities, protecting forests, establishing an Agri Park, and granting transit status to the Angoor Adda border terminal.On the occasion, the candidates pledged to address public issues.
