Pakistan’s overpopulation is a pressing issue that requires immediate attention and action. Pakistan has a population of more than 220 million, making it the fifth most populous country in the world. The population’s exponential growth rate has caused many social, economic, and environmental challenges. The country’s limited resources are being stretched due to overpopulation, which leads to poverty, unemployment, and inadequate healthcare and education facilities.
Rapid urbanization and overcrowding have caused numerous issues, such as traffic congestion, pollution, and inadequate housing. Additionally, the strain on agricultural lands has increased, resulting in food insecurity and an imbalance in the ecosystem. To address the problem of overpopulation, it is necessary to take comprehensive measures, including awareness campaigns, family planning initiatives, and investing in sustainable development. It is essential for the government, civil society, and individuals to collaborate to find viable solutions that guarantee a prosperous future for Pakistan and its people.
