Religious schools’ role in national solidarity lauded
LAHORE : Religious Education department Director General Maj Gen (retd) Dr Ghulam Qamar visited central secretariat of Nizam ul-Madaris Pakistan on Monday.
Nizam ul-Madaris deputy chairman Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, vice-president Brig (rted) Iqbal Ahmed Khan, Controller examination Allama Ain-ul-Haq Baghdadi, Dr Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Bahrvi, GM Malik, Muhammad Farooq Rana, Allama Ishtiaq Chishti, Allama Asghar Siddique Sajid Burhani and Noorullah Siddiqui welcomed the DG.
Director (registration) Religious Education Faisal Sher also accompanied him. The DG inspected examination branch, e-learning, Minhaj TV production house and Fareed-i-Millat Research Institute.
He was shown various documentaries on the working of the educational institutions affiliated with the Minhaj-ul-Quran.
The DG religious education said religious schools are playing an important role in the promotion of national solidarity. He promised streamlining the graduates of religious schools by offering them technical education as well as job opportunities.
He said our survival and stability depend on acting upon the message of the Holy Quran for unity of the Ummah. He said the great religious and national objectives like unity and harmony, peace and tolerance would be achieved with the cooperation of the seminaries.
