PU holds int’l moot tomorrow
LAHORE : Punjab University’s College of Earth & Environmental Sciences (CEES) is organising a three-day 4th International Conference on ‘Emerging Trends in Earth and Environmental Sciences” on Monday (tomorrow).
Minister for Higher Education Mansoor Qadir, Minister of State on Tourism Sayed Wasi Shah, PU VC Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood and others will attend the inaugural ceremony at 10am at CEES. Meanwhile, Punjab University students from various departments clinched team trophy in 6th All Pakistan Literary Competitions organized by University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore.
The PU students including Jashan Abbas, Usman Alvi, Yusra Jahan, Alisha Rehman, Sameera Hassan, Ukasha Wadood and Imtiaz Anjum shown outstanding performances and got first positions in Urdu Afsana, Punjabi Ghazal, Punjabi Nazam, English Short Story and 100 Words Story. The students also obtained 2nd positions in Urdu Ashra, English Poem and English Article while in Urdu Ghazal got 3rd position.
