Two more suspects held in Orangi burglary case
In the ongoing investigation of a house robbery in Orangi Town, the investigative team on Tuesday apprehended two more suspects, namely Sohail Rizvi and Shahrukh.
These arrests were made based on information provided by the detainees, leading to a raid on the residence of a sanitary trader in Orangi. Reportedly, cell phones used during the robbery were seized from the suspects.
The former South SSP, Imran Qureshi, will also come under scrutiny in the investigation, as decided by a joint investigation team. The team has decided to re-interview Qureshi.
In a prior development, DSP Umair Tariq Bajari, who was undergoing training, and three informers were apprehended by police for their involvement in the robbery during a fake raid on the residence of a sanitary trader in Orangi Town on the night of November 18.
