Shah Khawar appointed as PCB Election Commissioner

ISLAMABAD: Shah Khawar, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan has been appointed as the Election Commissioner of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to conduct Chair-man and other related elections.

The three-month tenure of the former Election Commissioner, PCB expired on October 5 when the post fell vacant. The former Election Commissioner PCB Mahmood lqbal Khakwani was appointed to conduct PCB chairman and other related elections. On October 5, his tenure expired.

Now Shah Khawar has been appointed as the new PCB Election Commissioner to conduct PCB and other related elections. The PCB Management Committee headed by Zaka Ashraf has already been given a three-month extension starting from November 4.
